PICS from the show about "India and the Sikh"

Satwinder Singh and Harprit Kaur from the Irish Sikh Council joined Thomas Janak in the studio to talk about Sikhism and living as a Sikh in society.

The Kirpan (ceremonial sword) is one of five things that a devoted Sikh has to wear at all times.

Hi Thomas, Thanks for inviting us to the Studio. I have just looked up on your blog and delighted to see pics. May I ask you to change intoduction about Kirpan (Ceremonial Sword - One of 5K's) Please replace the word Knife with Kirpan (Ceremonial Sword) as the former is quite an inappropriate word for Kirpan - an article of faith.

Thanks,
hope to see you again,
